The stone has returned permanently to the Northwood planting area, 15 mins walk from the parking at the end of Northwood Lane BN18 0RL. (There are gates into the deer fencing signified by small red dots, should you be walking from Bignor or Eartham)

The stone was unveiled on Weds 17th February 2016.

Over the winter the stone will be at Northwood planting fields. You can do good walks/cycle rides from Bignor Hill carpark, Eartham Wood car park or from the north of Slindon village (car parking at junction of Northwood Lane and Nore Wood Lane BN18 0RL – just south of Northwood Cotts) See a map here – the stone is on the W of ‘North Wood’ and there is also a permissive path through the purple area from the bridleway connecting the car parking spot (marked) with Monarch’s Way/Stane Street.
