Day 11: BLUEBELLS!

Everyone is out for the bluebells and awaiting the royal baby girl. The planning from six months back has led to the stone being positioned on one of the most strategic positions in Park Wood for passing traffic; it is now 10 minutes from Park Lane and 3 minutes from Dukes Road carparks.

2015-05-02 10.13.08colAnd you came in great numbers! Probably 110 people involved today, and several returning on the back from their walks. From North Bersted, Horsham, Walberton, Bognor and locally. Some camping nearby; some visiting friends, some walking the dog.

Lots of questioning of the forms today. With a couple of lines for an eye ‘pecked’ in with the chisel, this was powerfully evident – a massive, relaxed head:

 Another session on Bank Holiday Monday 4th May, 10am-4pm before the block moves north; remember your camera for the bluebells. I discovered these particularly indigo variants quite close to the stone. Most unusual.
